The School of Hard Knocks is a baseball and softball training facility that opened in November of 2003. Since opening its doors, several hundred players and countless teams have received excellent individual and group instruction to improve their baseball skills. By pooling their expertise, Joel Reinebold and John Huemmer have developed a world class training facility where athletes can train 12 months a year.

Jim Reinebold Fall Baseball Camp

The 15th Jim Reinebold Fall Baseball Camp concluded on October 17th at South Bend's Coveleski Stadium.  The unofficial "Camp Champs" were the Cubs coached by Tom Washburn and Kevin Perri.  Overall, "The Reinebold Camp" had 60 players from over 15 schools filled the four team rosters.  The final day of camp included college coaches from throughout the midwest in attendance.

  • Pitching instructor Jeff Williams is having a standout season with the Gary City Railcats in the Northern League

  • The School of Hard Knocks 10u Landsharks have quailified for the World Series in Lansing Michigan at the end of July. They are coached by Tom Washburn, Hard Knocks hitting instructor, John Kehoe, Washington H.S. coach, Tate Ryans, former New York Yankee minor leaguer.
